I finally saw Tron Legacy last night (it became available for home viewing last week) and I loved it. The sleek and stylish look and amazing music by Daft Punk, turned a relatively interesting science fiction flick into a great movie. I’m glad to know that a sequel is in the works but I have to admit, I’m a little concerned by some recent comments from the director of Legacy, Joseph Kosinski. Here is the comment;
I think we will pick with where TRON: LEGACY left off with Quorra in the real world and what does that mean and the possibilities it opens up for the next chapter. It’s that relationship between the two of them that’s the next step.
What I get between those lines is that the third Tron movie could be a love story set in the real world. I think we have enough of those movies already and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Tron stays on The Grid. Also, just in case Mr. Kosinski is reading this, please bring back Daft Punk for the soundtrack!
