Editor's Review
If you like to play games that are weird, then you’ll love the challenge of stacking oddly shaped blocks in Wonky: The Unstable Party Game. If you can be the first player to get rid of all your cards as you successfully add cubes to the tower, then you win. The game comes with nine Wonky cubes in different sizes and colors. There are also 54 cards, and each player gets seven. The remaining cards become the draw deck.
On your turn, you’ll play a card. It can be a Cube Stacking Card, which tells you which cube to add to the tower. You would then add that cube to the tower and see if the tower falls or not. If the tower falls on your turn, you have to draw three cards and take another turn.
You can also play an Action Card, which lets you skip your turn or reverse the direction of play. With these cards, you don’t have to add a cube.
Or you can play a Combo Card. You’ll add a cube of any color and size to the tower, and then either the next player must draw a card or play reverses direction.
To win, you have to get rid of your cards first. Or you can successfully add the ninth cube to the tower to immediately win no matter how many cards you have left.
You can play this game with one or more players ages 8 and up.

Should I get it?
This is a game that requires dexterity and strategic thinking. You’ll need a steady hand to place the cubes, but you’ll also need to play your cards right. We like that you can play this as a solo challenge, head to head competition, or with a larger group of players. It’s easy to learn and fun to play over and over again.
