Editor's Review

If you’re a fan of UNO and Barbie: The Movie, then you’ll love seeing graphics from the movie incorporated onto UNO cards. As you play UNO Barbie: The Movie, you’ll see favorite characters and scenes from the new movie. You’re still trying to match cards from your hand by number, symbol, or color. Of course, the colors are now blue, yellow, green, and pink. And along with the regular action cards of Draw Two, Reverse, Skip, Wild, and Wild Draw Four, there’s also a new Wild Played With Too Much card. If you play this card, first choose a color. Then, all other players must discard all cards from their hand of that color, and then draw the same amount of cards from the draw pile. Don’t forget to yell “UNO!” when you’re down to your last card, otherwise, you’ll have to draw two cards as a penalty. When a player plays their final card, they win!

Should I get it?

We like that the gameplay doesn’t deviate too much from the original. With the Played With Too Much Card and the movie imagery, it’s got just enough to make it special for fans, but there’s not a whole lot of new stuff to learn. Anyone, whether Barbie fan or UNO fan or both, can easily sit down and play this game.

Pros

New action card
Movie imagery on each card
