Editor's Review
Whether you want to build at home or on the go, there’s a Plus-Plus construction set for you. If you’re not familiar with Plus-Plus pieces, they all have the same shape but come in different colors. They also easily connect for endless 2-D and 3-D building possibilities.
The Travel Case allows you to carry your Plus-Plus pieces and base plates with you wherever you go. It comes with 100 Plus-Plus pieces and one white base plate. Unzip the case and build outside or right inside. The case has a durable fabric exterior, but it is structured to make building inside easier. The carry handle also makes it convenient to bring with you.
Spinning Tops is part of the Learn to Build series, and it comes with 240 pieces in nine different colors, four wheels, and a guide book. The book provides step-by-step instructions for building different types of tops that really spin.
The Street Racing Super Set, part of the Go! Series, lets kids build racing cars and a chasing police car, plus accessories. It includes 900 pieces, 12 reversible wheels, six extra wheels, and four baseplate chassis. The step-by-step instructions show kids how to build a GT and T-Bucket street racing car, as well as a police car, but kids can also design their own vehicles.

Should I get it?
We like the creativity in each of these construction sets. The Travel Case is great for kids who already have a Plus-Plus collection, allowing them to bring their pieces with them wherever, whether that’s in the car or at a restaurant. Because it does come with 100 pieces, it can also be used as a starter set to introduce kids to the Plus-Plus building system. And while the other two sets do have specific ways to build, kids can get creative to build whatever they want and use their imaginations to tell different stories, especially with the Street Racing set.
