Transformers One Power Flip Optimus Prime Review

Editor's Review
Inspired by the character in the new Transformers One movie, Power Flip Optimus Prime grows in height and changes between four different modes. Right out of the package, the action figure is the 10.36-inch Ultimate Optimus Prime. You’ll see a button on the front that activates lights and sounds when you press it. There’s also a shield with storage for the two weapons (a sword and an Energon axe) that the figure can wear on its back, or the weapons and shield can be held in the figure’s hands.
In the movie, the character starts out as Orion Pax, and you can make the action figure be this character in three steps. This shortens the figure to about 8.35 inches. From this mode, you can transform Orion Pax into a Cybertronian Truck. This is a 13-step process, and the picture instructions are not always easy to follow.
It’s pretty easy to go back and forth between Optimus Prime and Ultimate Optimus Prime. You just have to raise or lower the legs, since Optimus Prime stands only 9.46 inches tall. And if you hold out Optimus Prime’s arms, the figure will flip into Ultimate Optimus Prime mode.
Three button cell batteries are included.

Should I get it?
This lets fans of the new movie play out the transforming action. With four different modes, including one that uses that cool-looking Power Flip, Transformers fans will have lots of different ways to play. We just wish that the instructions had been clearer.
