Editor's Review
To celebrate 75 years of Tonka Tough, the Tonka Mighty Monster RC Steel Dump Truck is the first-ever R/C Tonka Truck. It’s made with cold-rolled steel and features four-in-one action: haul, dump, plow, and 360-degree stunts. Kids can load objects into the truck bed, secure them with the foldable tailgate, and then use the remote to drive the truck around their job sites with motorized hauling and dumping actions. When you’re done clearing obstacles with the plow, press the remote’s big red T button to activate the spinning stunt action.
The remote is easy to use and works from up to 100 feet away with 2.4GHz frequency. Two big black buttons send the truck forward, backward, left, and right. Use the high/low button to change the truck’s speed. The arrow down button lowers the dump bed, and the arrow up button lifts the dump bed. The plow is not controlled by the remote.
Parents will like that monster tires on this truck are made from a lightweight foam.
A rechargeable Li-On battery and USB cable are included for the truck. You will need two AAA batteries, which are not included, for the remote.
