It’s all engines go for toddlers, too, with Thomas & Friends My First Thomas and My First Knapford Station. Both of these bring the fun of Thomas train sets to little ones ages 1.5 and up.
My First Thomas is a chunky Thomas engine that kids can push along. Thomas includes an attachable cargo car and two chunky cargo pieces. Stack the book and the wooden barrel on the cargo car, and watch them wobble as the train is rolled around.
Styled like the location from the All Engines Go! TV show, My First Knapford Station features a winding ramp for engines to zoom down, a drive-through tunnel, three pieces of cargo, and a James engine with cargo car. The cargo can be stacked on the cargo car and will wobble as the train is rolled around. There are also two stackable spots for the cargo on the playset. Toddlers can also spin the clock hands for clicking sounds. Lift and lower the ramp gate to keep James rolling along. Some adult assembly is required.

These new toys let even the youngest Thomas fans experience the island of Sodor. The train engines and cargo pieces are easy for small hands to grasp, and loading and unloading the cargo helps with fine motor skills. Plus, these will inspire imaginative play.
