Thomas has an important mission, and it’s up to kids to help him deliver the barrels. The 80th anniversary-inspired Thomas & Friends Load & Launch Barrel Delivery Set comes with a classic Thomas motorized engine, a cargo car, four barrels, and 18 feet of track and accessories for building out the world of Sodor. Plus, there’s barrel-launching action. First, you’ll need two AAA batteries that are not included for the Thomas engine. Then, assemble the track pieces in one of two ways. Use the spinning turntable to send Thomas in the direction he needs to go, like through the tunnel and over the bridge to the delivery warehouse. There kids can load one of four barrels into Thomas’s cargo car. You can stop Thomas at the cargo pick-up destination or the tunnel to load a barrel. Make sure you place it the correct way and press down until you hear a click. Send Thomas chugging along the track and watch as the barrel automatically launches and rings the bell at the train depot. The turntable can change Thomas’ direction as can the track diverters. This set is compatible with other Thomas & Friends track sets, sold separately. You can store Thomas and other train engines underneath the train depot.
