Editor's Review
Shopping for a crib mattress can be such a pain, but not anymore thanks to the Sleepovation Baby Crib Mattress- Mini. The Sleepovation Baby Crib Mattress is incredibly breathable and engineered to reduce harmful pressure on your baby’s head. One side is for your infant, one side is for your toddler. The infant side of the mattress is made of CertiPUR-US® certified ILD 65 foam, the firmest foam used in crib mattresses that ensures that the cushion elements will not envelope the infant’s face should the baby turn over in the crib. The toddler side of the mattress is made with a CertiPUR-US® certified ILD 35 foam, a medium-firm foam which, when coupled with an individual spring element, allows for the proper alignment of the toddler spine which is critical for alignment, growth, and development. It also comes with a cover that’s removable and machine washable. The cover fabric carries the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 label, which means it has been tested for harmful substances. When the cover is removed, the internal portions of the mattress are still safe to touch as the mattress conforms to all government flammability standards without using any chemical flame retardants. I love that this crib has a mattress you can use for both your infant and toddler. It really does save you money in the long run. Plus, you can remove the cover for any reason such as a nighttime accident, too much drool, etc. Some adult mattress covers are super difficult to take off, but the Sleepovation cover is easy to take on and off. Just be aware that while the mini mattress does fit in a regular size crib, it leaves a significant gap. At the foot of Riley’s crib, the gap was big enough for me to fit his smaller sized teddy bear in it.

Should I get it?
Make sure the dimensions fit your crib. Overall we loved this mattress but they also have a standard size that might fit better in your crib.
Pros
- It grows with your child
- Has an easy to use cover.
Cons
- There are no real cons when using the mattress, but be aware that it doesn’t fit snugly into a regular sized crib.
