Editor's Review
Sometimes your baby just needs to take a break to indulge in some relaxation and the 4Moms RockaRoo Baby Rocker is the perfect item to do just that. The RockaRoo can be used from birth until your child reaches 20 pounds or starts trying to sit up, whichever comes first. It comes in three colors: gray, dark gray, and graphite. We’re reviewing the graphite one today. It has an automatic rhythmic motion that rocks front to back without needing a parent to power it and five ranges of motion that can be accessed using a dial on the base. The RockaRoo comes with three removable and interactive toys that entertain your baby and support their sensory development. You can place the toys above your baby as they rock or give it to them to hold and feel. It’s easy to use as you don’t need tools to assemble it and it’s powered by an AC adapter so there’s no batteries required. The Rockaroo’s unique design creates a compact footprint that doesn’t take up too much space in your home as it’s ⅓ the size of a traditional swing. The seat fabric is removable and machine washable in cold water on a gentle cycle then dry it on low heat. You can clean the harness straps by disassembling the Rockaroo and then take it to a sink or basin and allow the straps to dangle from the central rail into the soapy water. Then rinse the straps and let it dry before reassembling. The Rockaroo was so easy to put together which is perfect because, when you have a crying baby that needs to be rocked, you want something that’s super simple to put together in a snap. The rocking feels just like a car or a stroller which Ryder loves to be in so it definitely soothed him. And I absolutely loved that I could take off the fabric to wash it as our children spit up alot so this was an important factor to have. However, I didn’t like that the Rockaroo didn’t have any sounds to play for the baby and you aren’t able to adjust the angle of the seat so your baby is mostly upright which isn’t always a comfortable position for them.
