Editor's Review
Popdarts is a suction cup dart game that’s now accessible for players of all ages with Popdarts Rookie. This new version makes it easier for players ages 5 and up to land the shot, all while practicing hand-eye coordination and engaging in screen-free fun. How does it work? Well, the Popdart wing is fine tuned for aerodynamic flight, and the grip is engineered for precision throwing. The suction cup bottom stays on smooth and hard surfaces.Â
One pack has enough pieces for a two-player game: a target marker, three blue Popdarts, three green Popdarts, a carrying bag, and one Pro Popdart. You can purchase more than one pack for gameplay with four or six players.
To play, you suction the target marker to a smooth surface, such as a countertop or a window, and stand back at least 10 feet. Then take turns throwing the Popdarts, aiming to land as close to the target as possible. The Popdart that is closest to the target scores three points, and all other Popdarts score one point. You score no points if your Popdart falls. The recommended way to score is cancellation scoring, where the round’s losing player gets their points subtracted from the round’s winning player, and the difference is the recorded score for the winning player. So four points minus three points equals one point for the winning player. The first player to 21 points wins.
The included Pro Popdart gives you something to practice with when you’re ready to level up.

Should I get it?
We like that this game can be played anywhere, making it something easy to take along on a vacation or brought over to a friend’s house. This is also a game where you could make your own house rules, especially when it comes to what method of scoring you prefer to use. This Rookie version of the game is a lot of fun for the whole family to play.
