If you think you’ve pickled everything, think again. The Pickle Everything Foodie Deck is an expansion deck to add to the original version of the word game, which TTPM reviewed earlier this year. The gameplay is the same, except with a food-themed twist. You’ll need three to five players ages 10 and up. Players take turns drawing a card and reading the clue, such as “These flat round thin cakes come in stacks and taste best with real Vermont Maple Syrup.” The other players can shout out their answer at any time, but the first word of the answer must start with the letter “p” and the second word must be “pickle”. So, the answer to the above clue is “pancakes pickle”. The first player to correctly respond keeps the card, and once all cards are played, the player with the most cards is the winner, aka Professional Pickle. For a more advanced game, the card reader only gives one word as the clue to the answer.

Should I get it?
This expansion deck offers 52 new clues to add to the original version, but it also works as a stand-alone game for food fans. Adding more clues to the original deck was something we had hoped the company would offer because once you’ve gone through all the clues once, there really isn’t much of a challenge to replay them. And this version of the game will test your knowledge of food – and probably make you hungry.
