To use it as a bassinet, you will need to remove the mattress pad from the bottom of the playard to use inside the bassinet. Before placing the mattress, make sure the underneath tubes are securely fastened. To fold it, with or without the bassinet attached, you will need to remove the mattress pad. If the bassinet is attached, also unfasten the tubes. Then, pull up the center of the playard. After the center of the floor is up, just push in on the side buttons for a quick and easy fold. To set it up, just pull up on side rails until they are locked and then push down the center. It is very easy to use!
