Editor's Review
If you’re looking for an easy to install car seat, then the OneFit ClearTex All-in-One Car Seat is the perfect match for you and your little one. The car seat comes in 4 colors: Obsidian, Lilac, Slate, and Drift. We are reviewing the Obsidian color today! The car seat is for children 5 lbs. – 100 lbs. For rear-facing, your child must be 5-40 lbs. (and up to 43” tall). For forward facing, your child must be 25-65 lbs. (and up to 53” tall). And for booster, your child must be 40-100 lbs. (and up to 57” tall). It also comes with a removable head and body support insert for newborns 5-11 lbs. The 10 position headrest adjusts with the 5 pt harness so you get the most growth out of the car seat. I love that this seat goes all the way to 100 lbs.! You can use it from birth to 100 lbs. Other car seats I’ve seen only go up to 65 lbs. Onefit provides extra rear-facing leg room and there are multiple recline options in every mode of use. Just taking it out of the box, I loved how the instructions were right on the side how to properly install. I love how clear the bubble leveler is and where it should be for your child’s weight. The RideRight bubble levels work in tandem with the 9-position ReclineSure leveling system to provide improved vehicle fit and child comfort. This is a very installation friendly brand! As a first time mom, this felt so incredibly easy to use and understand. The Premium LATCH connectors and a SuperCinch force multiplying tightener make Chicco car seats the easiest to install correctly, every time. The Onefit’s steel-reinforced frame and EPS energy-absorbing foam surrounds the head and torso to keep your baby secured. There are multiple ways from the brand to find out how to install this car seat correctly: take a picture of the QR code or check out the instructions at ChiccoOneFit.com. It was also very easy to adjust the recline position- even when in the car. Someone with long legs could still sit in the driver’s seat and have this seat behind them. The car seat also has machine washable fabrics which is great when your baby has an accident. There are two cup holders that fold in when not in use. This is great for the months you aren’t using it but we didn’t want to risk taking off the cupholder and losing it. Unfortunately it is on the heavier side being 25 lbs. so it isn’t great for traveling on planes.
