Editor's Review
You’ll be counting to three with three new Numberblocks toys based on the animated Netflix series.
One to Five Wooden Blocks comes with 15 wooden blocks for building the characters one through five. There are also five wooden numberlings to label the block towers, an activity guide, and a storage bag. Kids ages 2 and up can sort and stack the blocks by color, rearrange the color blocks to make different shapes, practice addition and subtraction, and learn about odd and even numbers. Descriptions of each activity can be found in the activity guide, providing tips for parent-child interaction that enhances the learning play.
The Add It Up Mini Market helps preschoolers ages 3 and up practice counting and explore money. The set comes with a pretend produce stand, 16 double-sided coins, a shopping cart, a checkout counter, eight produce baskets, and a Numberblock Four. Of course, kids can engage in imaginative play with this set, but there are three activities in the activity guide promoting skills such as number order, shapes, and colors; addition; and counting money.
The Wooden Building Blocks Activity Set is also for ages 3 and up. It comes with 28 wooden Numberblocks shapes (four ones, three twos, four threes, five fours, and 12 fives), plus 10 double-sided activity cards, an activity guide, and a storage bag. Kids can stack the blocks tall or wide, or even make different 3-D shapes and pictures. And by playing on top of the activity cards, preschoolers will be exploring math concepts, such as one-to-one correspondence, addition, composing numbers 11 to 20, skip counting, and more. These activity cards definitely require parent participation to help read the instructions and guide children through the learning play.

Should I get it?
Fans of Numberblocks will like interacting with the characters through these educational toys. But even for kids who don’t watch the Netflix series, the toys will be a fun way to introduce early math skills. We like that there are so many different activities for each toy, as well as the opportunity for kids to use their imaginations while playing with the pieces.
