The Eaglepoint has an intricate sculpt, but a streamlined color scheme of turquoise blue with neon orange accents. There is both embossed and engraved text, sculpted holes, and angular contours spanning the length of the blaster. Some minor assembly is required out of the box. Screw in the handles on either side of the reloading groove to complete the bolt-action reloading mechanism. The chamber holds 8 darts, and you need to pull back the handle between each shot.

We are pleased to report that the firing is fairly accurate on this blaster! In addition to the 8 standard darts, you actually get 8 more to store near the stock, which is really nice. There is also a barrel extension and a scope that you can add or remove as you desire. The scope is actually useful when firing, but you’ll want to aim slightly above your target in most cases. We did not notice a substantial difference between blasting with a short barrel vs a long barrel, but it’s a very cool play feature nonetheless.

Should I get it?

The Eaglepoint Elite 2.0 is one of the more fun classic Nerf Dart blasters we’ve seen in a while. It has a good amount of bells and whistles, but prizes good functionality above all else.
