When you’re not watching your favorite NFL teams play football on TV, you can play fun Hasbro games featuring those teams. Both Monopoly Deal NFL and Guess Who? NFL add football-themed content to classic games.Â
Guess Who? NFL features players from all 32 NFL teams. The game is played like classic Guess Who?, with players asking “yes” or “no” questions to guess their opponent’s mystery NFL player. The game boards in this version are a little different, with two frames and two double-sided NFL player sheets that slide right in. Each player starts with all their white doors open, and then slides their top selector to the player that they want their opponent to guess. Take turns asking one question per turn, and close doors on any NFL players who do not match your opponent’s answer. So, if you ask “Is your player wearing a red uniform?” and the other player answers “Yes”, then close the doors on all the players who are not wearing a red uniform. If, on your turn, you think you know who your opponent’s mystery player is, you can make a guess instead of asking a question. And if you guess correctly, you win. But if you’re wrong, your opponent wins. Keep track of the score with the built-in scorepad on each frame. The game is for two players ages 6 and up.
In Monopoly Deal NFL, players try to collect three complete sets of NFL teams. The game, which is for two to five players ages 8 and up, starts each player with five cards. On your turn, you’ll draw two cards from the draw pile, and then play up to three cars of any type – or none at all. If you play cards, you can add point or action cards to your bank in front of you, and an NFL team to your collecting in front of you, or play an action card by reading it aloud, following its rules, and placing it on the discard pile. Point Cards are used to pay other players, Wild Cards can be used to represent an NFL team card, and Action Cards let you score points and block another player’s action card against you. Just keep in mind that once you play an Action Card to your bank, you can’t use its action. When one player collects three complete sets of NFL teams, each in a different color, that player wins.
