Editor's Review
With Mini Waffle City construction sets, kids can build and play out city scenes. The soft, flexible blocks in the Cafe and Air Show sets come in a variety of colors and can be used to build whatever kids want. Both are for ages 5 and up.
Along with 80 pieces for building a sweet spot to eat, the Cafe set comes with two character figures to inspire the imaginative play. Bart and Sylvia can work at the cafe or enjoy muffins in the cafe garden.
The Air Show set comes with 148 pieces and two character figures. Kids can build a plane for Emilia and a truck for Bill. There’s also a buildable airstrip.
With both sets, kids can follow the step-by-step building instructions or use the pieces to build however they want in both 2-D and 3-D. Kids can also collect the character figures and mix and match their pieces.

Should I get it?
We like that each set has a specific model to build, but kids can also get creative to build however they want. The character figures with each set help inspire more imaginative storytelling. While the pieces are easy to connect and have a nice tactile feel, younger builders might need help following the building instructions because some pieces look similar, and it’s easy to mix them up. You really have to pay attention to the correct orientation of each piece.
