It’s party time with Mini-Game Party! In this game, you play on teams, but you’re also still competing individually to earn the most points.
First, you’ve got to divide the game components by color. The Red Team gets the red pieces, and the Blue Team gets the blue pieces. To decide who is on which team for the first round, flip over a Team Maker Card. Each of these double-sided cards has two options on it. For instance, water fight or snowball fight. Players use their double-sided voting chips to vote for the option they like best, holding their hand over the chip to hide their vote until everyone is ready to reveal their answers. The players who voted for the red option make up the Red Team, while the players who voted for the blue option make up the Blue Team. If there are more players on one team than the other, that’s okay.
Now it’s time to play a mini-game. Draw a card, read out the rules, and play. There are three mini-game categories. In an Elimination game, the last team standing wins. In Who Did It Best?, the best player wins it for their team. And Teamwork is a team versus team game where the best team wins. Game activities include rolling a ball into the hoop, rolling the shoe dice and scoring points based on how the shoes land, or building the tallest structure using your team’s game pieces.
Each member of the winning team collects the same number of points as the number of players there are on the opposing team. So if Red Team wins, and Blue Team has four players, then the members of Red Team each score four points. Once you’ve written down the scores, flip over a new Team Maker Card to start a new round. After six rounds, the player with the most points wins.
The game, which is for two to eight players ages 8 and up, comes with six cups, two shoes, a scorepad, four dice, eight chips, four sticks, two boxes, a target, 20 mini cubes, two balls, a track, four dominos, and 151 game cards.

Should I get it?
What we like most about this game is that it’s going to be different every time you play. Different teams. Different challenges. And it’s competitive, but it also requires players to work together. It’s just a very unique take on a party game that the whole family can play.
