The Halo Red Team Warthog Rescue set is 324 pieces and will take you a couple hours to build at a relaxed pace. The build is breezy and very enjoyable, and the final construction holds together super solidly. Once done, you’ll have the Warthog with onboard turret, a ground mounted turret, a barrier, three spartans, (Douglas, Jerome, and Alice) and a teeeny Serina. Each of the Spartan figures have a surprisingly robust amount of articulation, including poseability in the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, and knees. You can actually get these figures into some pretty dynamic poses. For any poses that are really wild, you get some stands to help with stability! Plug any of the 4 included weapons into their hand for some natural looking battle scenes. Thanks to the excellent range of movement, they can also be seated in the Warthog and grip the steering wheel (with a bit of effort!) Naturally, a Spartan can man the mounted turret, which itself has two hinge points and rotates 360 degrees on its base. The Warthog itself has real rubber wheels and a bit of built in suspension to make playing with it feel even more fun.

This set looks amazing. There is a subtle metallic fleck in the bricks which gives the vehicle and figures an excellent sheen. The paintwork, where applied, is also clean and very well done. As an added bonus, you can take the barrier, plus some of the ground turret pieces to switch between the flame warthog and the normal version!
