The five members of the Link Squad are super fun to play with on their own, but when they’re together, they add harmony to the learning. Each Link Squad toy, sold separately, has a different learning feature for babies ages 9 months and up.

The Opposites Fox is all about opposites, colors, and helping little ones with fine and gross motor skills. Just press down on the fox’s head to start the musical fun. Three AA batteries are included.

The Crawl ‘n Colors Chameleon encourages crawling while introducing babies to colors and cause and effect. Spin the roller or press the ABC 123 button to make the toy light up and play music. The chameleon also rolls along on its wheels. Three AA batteries are included.

The Jam & Count Panda introduces numbers and counting, shapes and colors, and cause and effect, all while helping babies with fine motor skills. There are 10 number buttons on the panda’s guitar that play the learning content. The whammy bar adds fun sound effects. The spinning ball makes the panda’s microphone light up. And the clicking guitar pick is a fun fidget item. Three AA batteries are included.

With the Bop & Groove Tiger, babies will hear about the alphabet, body parts, colors, and more. Press the right hand to activate lights and sounds. Press the microphone button (left hand) to record something and hear it played back in a remixed way. The foot button (left foot) also activates more music and lights, as does the blue tummy button and roller on the right foot. This toy comes with four AA batteries.

And the A to Z Yak looks like a DJ ready to help babies with letters, first words, colors, and cause and effect. Spin the record to activate lights, music, and sounds. Pressing any of the letter buttons activates learning content. Press the microphone button to record something and hear it played back in a remixed way. There’s also a bead maze on the yak’s handle. This includes three AA batteries.

But when you have more than one band member next to each other, all you have to do is press a button on one of them to hear them talk, sing along in harmony, and light up in sync.

Should I get it?

These are really cute and really fun. All of them together might be a bit much for young babies, but all five do look cool singing and grooving together. We like that each one represents a different animal (so pick your favorite) and offers different learning content. The fun music will definitely inspire little ones to get moving.
