The Imperial Light Cruiser set comes with the main Imperial space vessel, as well as six minifigs, including Din Djarin, Moff Gideon, Cara Dune, Grogu, and a Dark Trooper. The facade of the cruiser is packed with detail. Look on every square inch of this spacecraft and you’ll find interesting mechanical panels and vents that imitate the iconic look of imperial vessels. The cruiser features rotating cannons, articulated blasters and an opening front compartment, where you can reenact the Mandalorian season two finale.
Next we have The Bad Batch Attack Shuttle, which comes with the Shuttle, two speeders, and six minifigs: Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, Echo, and the coolest minifig, the Gonk Droid. The Shuttle features a firing spring loaded blaster along the bottom. The wings are fully articulated and can be oriented for flight mode and landing mode. You have the ability to open the cockpit hatch on its own, or the entire top of the ship to get a peek inside! Definitely a very cool feature.
Boba Fett’s Starship is a set that has had many iterations over the years, and this one is a key contender for the best version. This set comes with a Boba Fett minifig, and a Din minifig, complete with his beskar spear. The starship features accurate thruster detailing, an opening cockpit and cargo hold, and rotating blasters. It even has a little handle on the back for easier whooshing! Also included is a ladder / base for an alternate, upright display method. This feature is much appreciated.
The last built vehicle we have is the Imperial Armored Marauder. Despite being the most modestly sized vehicle, it’s actually one of the most fun sets from today’s offerings. The marauder has lots of opening doors, flaps and windows, a blaster turret in the back to ward off would be pursuers, a pilot seat, and stud launchers in the front. It’s way more complex than you might assume from it’s size! You also get a Greef Karga minifig, as well as three stormtroopers.
Considering the level of quality across the sets we built, keep your eyes peeled for these in stores as well: The Mandalorian Starfighter, includes three minifigs, one of which is fan favorite character Bo-Katan. Through a clever piece of engineering, the Starfighter’s wings can be oriented vertically or horizontally, and can also fold upward for a landing mode. The Duel on Mandalore set comes with the Mandalorian throne and minifigs of two more fan favorites: Ahsoka Tano and Darth Maul. Lastly, there’s the Armorer’s Mandalorian Forge set, which recreates her workshop with amazing detail. Three minifigs come with this set: Din, the Armorer, and the heavy gunner Paz Vizsla.
Build times for any of these sets shouldn’t exceed 2-3 hours, depending on your building speed. Accessories for these sets are just right; not too many, not too few. Natural storage is included for most, if not all of the accessories and minifigs.
