The Modular Playhouse is a 129-piece buildable dollhouse. It comes with three LEGO Duplo figures, a dog figure, and lots of accessories for decorating a five-room home. With parent interaction, kids can explore mealtime routines in the kitchen and bedtime routines in the bathroom and bedroom. But because this dollhouse is modular, kids can build in one of three ways to create a traditional home, a stacked home, or a one-level home.

Add to this the 46-piece Bakery set for more creative cooking with the two LEGO Duplo figures and cake accessories, or the 36-piece Alphabet Truck set, which comes with two LEGO Duplo figures and 26 colorful blocks for each letter of the alphabet.

And for more building fun, there’s the Tower Crane & Construction set, which comes with 123 pieces for building a busy construction site. Not only do kids get a bulldozer, mini bulldozer, dump truck, digger, and crane toys, but the bulldozer is a push-and-go vehicle, there are two light-and-sound bricks, and one light-up brick. Along with additional accessories, the set includes five LEGO Duplo figures: a female painter, a female crane driver, two male construction workers, and a hot dog guy.

Should I get it?

For some of these sets, such as the Alphabet Truck, parent interaction will be key to engaging kids in prime educational benefits. Help them spell words with the blocks or reinforce everyday routines with the Modular Playhouse. Kids who love construction vehicles will really like the moving and light-up features of the Tower Crane & Construction set. Of course, all of these sets will also be fun for engaging kids in creative construction play and imaginative storytelling.
