Hello Kitty and Friends Snack Shop Game Review

Collect snacks with Hello Kitty and Friends when you play the Snack Shop Game. This cute cooperative game for two to four players ages 6 and up is easy to learn and features favorite Hello Kitty characters. Players can play as Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Keroppi, or Kuromi. Set up the game board with each of the four card themes placed on their matching spaces, the treat tokens placed on the snack shop window, and the “open” sign placed on the clock. Take turns rolling the die, moving that many spaces around the board, and performing whatever action you land on. Landing on Share means you draw a Share card and share something about you or a friend. Once you do, you take a treat token and place it face-up in front of you. All of the treats have a cute Hello Kitty theme, too. If you land on Care, draw the top Care card and do that caring activity. Once you do, collect a treat token. Draw a Surprise card if you land on Surprise. This card will have a surprise action for you to perform. If you land on Find, draw the top Find card. You’ll have 30 seconds to get up and find the object listed on the card. For instance, something with a heart or something pink. If you make it back to the table with the object before time runs out, you get a treat token. If not, you lose a treat token. Landing on any of the four Start spaces allows you to choose which pile to draw a card from. And landing on a clock means that you must move the “open” sign one spot around the clock. If the sign ever makes it to “closing time” on the clock, flip the sign over to “closed” and the game ends. If the final treat token is taken before the shop closes, then everybody wins. The game includes 60 cards, 13 tokens, four movers, a game board, a die, a sand timer, and instructions.
