Froot Loops Frenzy Review

Editor's Review
Froot Loops Frenzy is a game for 2 to 4 players age 6 and older. Some very minor assembly is required out of the box. Bear in mind, this game is largely meant to be assembled once, so the box has limited utility after opening. The game will need 3 AA batteries of your own to function. Stick all the stickers to the loops, and stack them on Sam’s Spoon, then get a collection card. Start the game by pressing the button on Sam’s foot, at which point he’ll start to dance to the music. Grab a loop off of his spoon while he does his jig (which is harder than it looks, trust us) and see what it says, whether it’s Add to Bowl, Swap, or Keep. If it’s Keep, lucky you! Add it to your collection card. Swap means you need to swap your loop with one on another players’ card. Add to Bowl means, you guessed it, adding the loop to Sam’s bowl. After a certain number of presses, Sam’s excitement will get the better of him, and he’ll spill the loops on the table, at which point you have a chance to grab a single loop of a color that you still need. Play continues like this until a player collects all 6 colors!
Toucan Sam is a charming and iconic mascot that kiddos adore, and Goliath has done a great job portraying him in the game. The high luck and reflex based mechanics are also ideal for kids, although kids at heart are welcome to play too!
