Editor's Review
Navigate a day at school and all the feelings that go with it with help from the Feelings Family Introductory Storybook and Plush Set. The hardcover picture book tells the story of Isabella on a typical day at school. She gets up and gets ready and feels happy. But different things throughout the day cause Isabella and her friends to change their feelings, from scared and angry to surprised and sad. As kids and parents read the book together, kids can use the five plush feelings characters to identify the feeling and act out the story. Questions in the back of the book extend the discussion, getting parents and kids to talk about a time when they felt happy or how they knew the character in the story was feeling sad, for instance. The plush characters, representing happy, sad, angry, scared, and surprised, can be played with outside of reading time, too. Kids might like playing out other stories with the characters or using the toys to help identify their own feelings.
