DJ Furby Review

There’s more Furby to love thanks to DJ Furby! Not only does this new Furby play music and games, it’s also got a longer body. This 32-inch interactive plush toy features four colorful belly lights for sensory play and interaction. It requires four AA batteries, which are not included. 

DJ Furby features ears and a mouth that move when Furby dances, talks, and sings. You can even press Furby’s tongue. There’s also a heart gem to press for entering and exiting the different play modes, front feet that serve as buttons to choose different game options, and belly lights that you tap or swipe for a variety of interactions. 

You can play with DJ Furby in Music Mode, which features Dance Party and Remix games; Belly Games Mode, which includes memory games – some of which involve farting; Party Games Mode, where you can play Furby Says and Freeze Dance; and Chill Time, with yoga moves and a soothing light show. Each mode also contains additional games that can only be unlocked the more you play with DJ Furby. 

When you’re not in one of those four game modes, you’ll be in Bestie Time Mode. This allows you to interact with Furby through jokes, phrases, more games, and reactions to noise. Use the included Furbish dictionary to understand what DJ Furby is saying to you. 

For even more fun, DJ Furby will interact with a Furby, Furblets, or another DJ Furby. Just follow the instructions to pair DJ Furby with these other Furby friends. 

The toy does have volume control and will go to sleep after 90 seconds of no interaction. Or you can power it off by pressing the heart gem three times in a row.
