Editor's Review
Celebrate 100 years of villainy with Disney Villainous: Introduction to Evil (Disney100 Edition). This plays like the original Disney Villainous, which came out in 2018, but this version features a new 100th anniversary box design, QR codes in the instructions, and four sculpted movers with a limited-edition lustrous finish.
Fans will like taking on the role of Maleficent, Captain Hook, Ursula, or Prince John. Each villain has unique abilities and a different objective. On your turn, you’ll move your villain to a location in their realm and perform actions, playing cards from your villain deck to achieve your objective. Each player gets their character mover and that character’s villain deck, fate deck, realm card, villain guide, and reference card. There’s also a cauldron that stores the 40 power tokens.
There are different actions you can perform on each turn, dictated by your villain’s location. You might get to gain power, play a card, slow down another player by drawing fate cards, move an item or ally, move a hero, defeat a hero, and discard cards. The first player to complete their character’s objective wins the game.
You can play the game with two to four players ages 10 and up. The game includes four villain movers, four villain card decks, four fate card decks, four villain guides, four reference cards, a cauldron, 40 power tokens, and instructions.
