Decorate, plant, and grow an enchanted terrarium with the Plant & Grow Woodland Forest kit. It comes with everything you need – all you add is water!Â
The kit walks you through the steps of setting up the terrarium. This involves layering the inside with potting mix, sand, white stones, and seeds. (Don’t use all of the seeds! There are extras for you to re-plant later.) There are also stickers for decorating the outside of the terrarium to make it look like a little home for the gnome and snail figures, which you can place inside. Adding the white stickers to the terrarium lid makes it look like a mushroom.Â
You’ll need to leave this in a sunny spot and water it to keep the soil damp. The instructions say that with the quick grow chia seeds, you’ll see sprouts in as little as three to five days.Â

Should I get it?
This activity might be better suited to spring and summer as opposed to fall and winter, which is when we tested it. You need ample sunlight to help your plant grow, and warmer temperatures help, too. We didn’t get anything to grow, but with the right environmental elements (and a kid who remembers to give the seeds water), you have a better chance of success. Overall, setting it up was easy to do, and kids will like decorating it with the figures and stickers.
