Editor's Review
If you love stuffed animals and you love baking, then you’ll love the combination of the two in the Cookeez Makery Baked Treatz Oven Playset. With this toy, kids mix special ingredients, place them in the magical oven, and then reveal a warm and scented interactive plush. The toy does include four AAA batteries, but they’re temporary batteries for first-time use, and it’s recommended to replace them.
Inside the box of Baked Treatz Mix, you’ll find two toy ingredient sachets, a measuring cup, a pet mold, a spatula tool, and an ingredients storage bag. You’ll need to provide a mixing bowl and water.
Then, you’ll follow the instructions in the recipe book to make toy dough, shape it with the mold, and place it in the oven to “bake” for about 1 and a half minutes. When you hear the ding, open the door to reveal a warm and scented plush. There are three to collect in the Baked Treatz series, and they all look like bread. The three from the Cinnamon Treatz series look like cinnamon rolls and are sold separately.
Playing with the plush is easy. Squeeze it to activate nurture sounds. If you give it a three-second squeeze, you’ll start two minutes of warmth.
And best of all, you can “bake” it over and over again. The toy dough you made can be saved inside the included storage bag.
