Bluey Let’s Play Chef Supermarket Playset Review

Editor's Review
Inspired by the Bluey episode “Kids”, the Bluey Let’s Play Chef Supermarket Playset features three floors, more than 15 play pieces, and 24 sounds. You’ll need three AAA batteries, which are not included. Just like on the show, kids can help the Bluey and Bingo figures do the grocery shopping or even sit and have a bite to eat in the upstairs restaurant. Pretend food, a cash register, shopping bags, and a shopping cart all inspire the imaginative play. Add in the kid-powered escalator, which also carries up the shopping cart, and a supermarket intercom that plays sound effects, and kids will be able to recreate their favorite moments from the show, as well as play out all-new shopping adventures with favorite characters. The intercom has two levels of volume.
Some assembly is required, but is pretty easy to do. We struggled a little with placing the stickers. There is one sticker that is labeled as “sign”, but no clear indication of where to place this sign.

Should I get it?
This is a really cute playset that will inspire a lot of imaginative play for preschoolers. We like that it comes with figures of both Bluey and Bingo, plus lots of pretend food and grocery store fixtures with lots of space to play with them. The working escalator and shopping cart return is so much fun to operate.
