The latest game in the hugely popular LEGO Star Wars series is out today! LEGO Star Wars 3 The Clone Wars includes all the characters from both seasons of the animated series, The Clone Wars, plus some fan-favorite characters from the theatrical movies. Following on the success of the first two LEGO Star Wars games, The Clone Wars puts players into familiar scenes recreated in LEGO-style, where they play through an adventure/puzzle-solving game as their favorite Star Wars characters.
This game is filled with some familiar LEGO Star Wars action plus some new features that sound really cool. One of those features is a massive battle system that allows players to command battalions of clone troopers, build bases, deploy vehicles and challenge an attacking droid army. Another feature will have players exploring the galaxy in various ships depending on what side they are playing for – the Republic, Separatists or as bounty hunters. Clone Wars is also the first LEGO Star Wars game to include boss battles.
Anyone who enjoyed playing the first two LEGO Star Wars games is going to love LEGO Star Wars 3 The Clone Wars. This is an all new game so even people who have not played the first two games can pick it up and easily get into the fun.
LEGO Star Wars 3 The Clone Wars is rated Everyone 10+ (Everyone for the DS version) and available on all current generation game systems (DS, Wii, PC, PSP, PS3, Xbox 360). A 3D version for the Nintendo 3DS will be available on March 27, 2011.
