Weekend Box Office: Ralph Takes Top Score

Wreck-It Ralph easily claimed the top spot on the Top 10 List with an estimated $49.1 million. That’s the highest opening weekend ever for a Disney Animation movie and it’s no wonder, this movie looks great! The movies’ retro look and story line are appealing to adults who grew up in arcades and they are taking their kids to see it who also appear to be thoroughly enjoying the movie. Time To Play gave Wreck-It Ralph, 8 out of 10 See-It-Again points and you can read our full review by clicking here.

Two other new movies opened over the weekend. Flight, starring Denzel Washington, landed in second place with a respectable $25.01 million and The Man with the Iron Fists, pounded its way to fourth with an ok $8.2 million.
