Yesterday we recapped what was happening at the three hardware/software companies’ E3 2014 booths. Today we bring you some highlights from a few of the game publishers.

Activision:
The latest in the Call of Duty series, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, looks amazing, but what really has us excited is the family-friendly, Skylanders: Trap Team. We covered the game’s basics in a previous post that you can read here. At E3, we were treated to a look at more characters, like Pain-Yatta, a giant pinata villain with a lollipop weapon who can barf candy, and Krypt King, a Trap Master with a huge Traptanium sword.

Disney will continue to focus on Disney Infinity. The game had a huge presence in the E3 booth with visitors able to play the new Infinity: Marvel Superheroes game.

EA
The EA booth was heavy on sports with Madden NFL 15, FIFA 15, NHL 15 and UFC taking center stage. There is also a new game in the popular Dragon Age series, Dragon Age Inquisition on its way.

SEGA
Its going to be a big year for Sonic the Hedgehog as SEGA gears up for Sonic Boom. Boom will introduce a new look for Sonic and friends, their first-ever CG animated television series, new videogames and a new toy line.
