It’s a great weekend for family movie outings with Frankenweenie opening everywhere today! Frankenweenie is Tim Burton’s latest, stop-motion animated movie that gives a bolt of quirkiness to the Frankenstein story.
The story follows a boy named Victor, who’s  beloved dog, Sparky, is unexpectedly killed. Victor conducts a science experiment to bring Sparky back to life, only to face unintended, sometimes monstrous, consequences. Charlie Tahan, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, Martin Landau, Winona Ryder and Conchata Ferrell (and more) do the voices.

Frankenweenie is rated PG (for thematic elements, scary images and action) and is 87 minutes long.
