It’s been four years since LEGO Batman: The Videogame was released and while there have been plenty of LEGO video games since then–Star Wars Clone Wars, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones–LEGO Batman remains one of the most popular and is the best-selling LEGO videogame of all time. So it’s no wonder that people are getting excited about this summer’s follow up game, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.
As you might have guessed, Batman and Robin are back but this time the Dynamic Duo is bringing some of their famous DC superhero friends, including Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Green Lantern. The Super friends are joining forces to defeat Lex Luthor and The Joker in an all new adventure filled with classic LEGO videogame action and humor.
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will be available this Summer. The rumored release date is July 31, 2012. The game will be released for PC, PlayStation3, Xbox 360 and Wii. There will also be hand-held versions for the Nintendo DS, 3DS and PlayStationVita.
