For the month of March, I conducted an unscientific experiment to find out if you can really lose weight with a workout video game. The game I used was Your Shape: Fitness Evolved by Ubisoft for Xbox’s Kinect.
Today is April 1, so it’s time for my final official weigh-in. On March 1, my weight was 191 and as of today, I weigh 184 for a total of 7 pounds lost in one month.
It was a cold and wintery March where I live so there was no running around outside for me and Your Shape was my only physical outlet. I did my exergaming workouts four days a week for at least 30 minutes a day so I guess it really is possible to loose weight with a video game.
I’ll probably continue using Your Shape during April so maybe I’ll do another weigh-in on May 1.
