Party photo booths are all the rage these days. They are used at birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, and more. Every party needs a fun activity, and a photo booth is the perfect activity to wow and entertain guests. Plus, guests get to leave with a photo to remember how much fun they had at the party. Here are some simple and inexpensive tips to set up a photo booth at your next party.
1. Find a Photo Booth Backdrop (from items in your home)
Look around your home for fabric or other materials to use as a backdrop for the photo booth. Flat bed sheets are perfect photo booth backdrops. Window curtains or shower curtains are available in fun designs that would make fabulous and inexpensive backdrops. Choose the backdrop and then carefully tack it onto your wall.
2. Gather the Props
Gather hats, glasses, silly scarves and more and put them in a box next to the backdrop. Free printable moustaches, which are perfect for photo booths, are available in Kara’s Party Ideas Shop, found here. A large frame makes the perfect prop. Guests can hold up the frame and peer through it while posing for the camera.
3. Photo Sign
Make a sign that tells guests to take their picture with their phone at the photo booth. You can also take photos of guests with your own camera.
4. Added fun
Add balloons, pennant banners and silly toys to the photo booth station for even more fun!
