Good Grief! Charlie Brown is coming to theaters in 3-D. It was previously announced last fall that an as-yet-untitled Peanuts full-length animated film was in development for a 2015 release. But now new details have been announced that the Peanuts animated film will be in 3-D. It is expected in theaters on November 6, 2015. The film is based on creator, Charles Schulz’s, iconic comic strip featuring Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, and the rest of the gang.

2015 is expected to be a big year of celebrations for Peanuts. It marks the 65th anniversary of the debut of the Peanuts comic strip. It is also the 50th anniversary of the classic television special, A Charlie Brown Christmas.

It was also previously announced that Charles Schulz’s son and grandson, Craig Schulz and Bryan Schulz, respectively, are writing and producing the film along with screenwriter Cornelius Uliano. Twentieth Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios have been chosen by the Schulz family to distribute, produce, and animate the new Peanuts movie. Steve Martino (Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who! and Ice Age: Continental Drift) will direct the film.
