Fans of Air Hogs will have the chance to see a full-sized version of the R/C plane fly the friendly Florida skies this weekend at the Lauderdale Air Show.
The Air Hogs Sky Stunt plane will be piloted by the legendary Jason Newburg. After watching Newburg and his adventurous performance in the full-sized Sky Stunt plane, guests will be able to meet the pilot himself, at the Air Hogs Flight School Tent, where Newburg will be stopping by for interviews, autographs, and photo opportunities at Sunrise Blvd. and A1A, on Saturday April 20 at 3–4pm.
The 2013 Lauderdale Air Show will feature a diverse lineup of military aircraft demonstrations, low altitude flyovers, parachute team jumps, and civilian aerobatic performances that will soar over the oceanfront in Fort Lauderdale Beach, Fla. on April 20 and 21.
Visitors will be able to test out their own piloting skills in the Air Hogs Flight School where participants can earn their own official Air Hogs Helicopter pilot wings, while testing out never-before-seen helicopters before they hit store shelves. Additionally, fans will be able to enter a drawing to take home the entire Air Hogs product line.
The Air Hogs tent is located at Sunrise Blvd. and A1A. It will be open this Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21 from 9–5 pm and Newburg will be performing in the Lauderdale Air Show, piloting the Air Hogs Sky Stunt plane throughout the weekend.
Rachel Griffin, from the Air Hogs team, provided TimeToPlayMag.com with this amazing helmet cam video view of her ride in the stunt plane with Newburg earlier this week. Watch the loops and nose dives from inside the plane here.
