Ride Along held onto the #1 spot at the box office in it’s 3rd weekend out. Frozen moved back up to 2nd thanks to the release of the new sing-along version. The sing-along version has the words to the songs appear on screen so audiences can sing along with the movie. Of the two new movies opening over the weekend, Zac Efron’s R-rated comedy, That Awkward Moment, came in 3rd with a disappointing $9 million and the Kate Winslet-Josh Brolin drama Labor Day, bombed at 7th with $5.3 million.
