Box Office: Noah Rides to Top

The latest Bible-pic, Noah, opened to an impressive $44 million over the weekend while Divergent dropped to 2nd and Muppets settled into 3rd. The Muppets weren’t the only family-friendly offering in theaters. Mr. Peabody & Sherman continues to do well with another $9.5 million, and although it is no longer in the Top 10, Frozen is still showing around the planet and became the highest-grossing animated film in history this weekend.
