Box Office, Guardians & Mutants Hold Onto Top Spots

It was a great Labor Day holiday weekend for Guardians of the Galaxy. The movie held onto the #1 spot with an estimated $22.2 million earned over the Friday-to-Monday holiday weekend. Last weekend’s #2 movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, also held onto it’s spot with an estimated $15.7 million over the long weekend.

Teen-romance, If I Stay, stayed at #3, while two new movies–As Above/So Below and The November Man–opened in 4th and 6th (respectively). Sandwiched between those two new releases was the comedy,  Let’s Be Cops.
