New video games are released every week. Here are a few coming out this week that should be worth playing.
LittleBigPlanet 2 is the follow up game to the hugely successful and much-loved game, LittleBigPlanet. Like the first game, LBP 2, brings back the game’s playable character , Sackboy, for a standard platformer game (like a Mario game) that involves getting Sackboy from one end of a level to the other with lots of creative obstacles in between. While this story mode will appeal to younger gamers, gamers of all ages (including older teens and adults) will want to check out the game’s editor mode, which allows them to create their own levels.
LittleBigPlanet 2 is in stores today (Tuesday, January 18, 2011). This PS3 exclusive is rated Everyone and costs $59.99.
