There are some new students attending Rainbow High. The Rainbow High Littles are the little sisters of your favorite Rainbow High girls, and the Watercolor & Create doll adds creativity to the doll play.

There are six Rainbow High Littles to collect: Sapphire Bradshaw, Indigo Bailey, Amethyst Willow, Daisy Madison, Opal Raine, and Magenta Monroe. Each poseable 5.5-inch doll comes with a pet, a purse, and shoes that match the color of their outfit.

The Watercolor & Create Doll comes in three different versions: one with purple eyes, one with green eyes, and one with brown eyes. But each doll is customizable using the washable watercolors. Just add water to the six rainbow-colored powders and dip the doll’s white clothes and even its hair into the color. You can use the dual-ended application sponge to dab on color, too. There are even elastic bands and stencils for tie-dying and creating fun shapes. In addition to the all-white outfit that the doll wears, there’s a bonus white shirt and white sneakers for even more customizing fun. When your doll is done with her colorful look, just wash in soap and water, let dry, and then create a new look. (The longer you leave the clothes in the soapy water, the cleaner they’ll get. Of course, the longer the color stays on the clothes, the harder it will be to remove.) You can even use the watercolors on your own hair, although we tried this on light-colored hair and results were barely visible.

Should I get it?

These dolls make a fun addition to a Rainbow High doll collection. Kids will like collecting the little sisters of their favorite Rainbow High characters, and they’ll like creating custom fashions for their dolls with the Watercolor & Create set. Both of these give fans more ways to imagine and play.

Some things to note about the Watercolor & Create doll: the color doesn’t stick well to the plastic shoes, you’ll need a lot of bowls if you want to use all the colors, and it’s a messy process.

3 Watercolor dolls to collect
