Editor's Review
You don’t have to look far for a stroller that will grow with your child as the Inglesina Electa Stroller, Bassinet, and Stand will be there for all of your baby’s big moments. The stroller comes in three colors: Tribeca Green, Chelsea Gray, and Upper Black. We’re reviewing the Tribeca Green one today. The stroller is compatible with the Electa Bassinet + Stand, but it’s sold separately. The stroller is super lightweight as it weighs about 19 pounds. It comes with a rain cover and adapters which is awesome as you can take your baby out in any weather. The 5 pt harness is easily adjustable and the seat is reversible and adjustable. Your toddler can sit facing your or out towards the street so they can look around. It has a spacious storage basket and comes with a cup holder for the parent. It has an extendable hood for maximum protection from the sun (UPF 50+) that has a peekaboo window so you can keep an eye on your child. The handle can be adjusted to four different positions so it can work with any height and it has a one foot stop and go brake which is super easy to use. The Electa is ultra compact when folded which makes it travel friendly. It can be opened and closed with two hands. The stroller can be folded with the seat attached, either facing the parent or the street. The best part of the Electa stroller is definitely its compact design as it fits perfectly within the trunk of my car.
The Electa bassinet and stand come in the same colors as the stroller. We’re reviewing the Tribeca Green one today. The bassinet can be used from birth to 6 months. The bassinet is approved for overnight sleeping and can be used with and without the stand. With the bassinet’s large internal dimensions (31.10” x 14.57”), your baby can lay down comfortably even when wrapped up in warm clothes. The mattress is made of a combination of medium density foam with 40 holes for ventilation and bamboo fiber, which is highly breathable, hypoallergenic and antibacterial, so it’s perfect for your baby’s delicate skin. The 3D mesh applied to the base improves air circulation and prevents the build-up of humidity as your baby sleeps. The bottom front of the bassinet features a lever that allows you to adjust the airflow in the summer months and keep the warmth in during the cold winter months. During the winter, the bassinet’s expandable flap protects your baby from the harsh elements and, in the summer months, you can unzip the apron to allow extra air flow into the bassinet, keeping your baby happy and cool. The hood features an anti-UV (UPF50+) treated fabric with a sun visor for shielding against direct sunlight. The “quick-access” apron is there to place your newborn easily into the bassinet without having to detach the apron fully, which is perfect for not disturbing your baby as they sleep. The stand makes this bassinet travel friendly as you can take it with you on vacation without it taking up too much room. The bassinet can be used with the stroller; just remove the seat and click it into place.
