There will be lots of pretend play with four new wooden toys from Manhattan Toy.

Babies ages 12 months and up can make music with Musical Diego Dino. This wooden dino features multiple musical instruments, including washboard ridges, a xylophone on its back, and a removable maraca tail. There’s a wooden mallet for the xylophone, spinning gears and maze runs on the sides, and flipping panels on the front.

The next three toys are for ages 3 and up. The Posh Pet Day Spa lets kids pretend to be pet groomers with 6 tools. The wooden hairdryer, brush, shampoo bottle, clippers, and trimming sheers can all be stored inside the drawstring muslin bag. The bag has a cute Pet Grooming Set logo on it.

Toasty Turtle is a pretend wooden toaster shaped like a turtle. Kids can place the wooden toast or wooden bagel halves into the toaster and push down on the turtle’s head to make the toast pop up. The toaster has a clicking knob and a springy tail. A wooden plate, knife, and four pats of pretend butter are also included.

Kids can bake up pretend pizza with the Nutty Squirrel Pizzeria. Use the four felt pizza slices and 24 felt pizza toppings to create a pizza with all your favorites. With your pizza on the wood paddle, slide it into the wooden oven. When the pizza is ready, use the wood pizza cutter to slice it up.
