Editor's Review
Kids will feel just like a real doctor with the Smart Chart Medical Kit. It comes with 16 play pieces and five interactive activities to help preschooler’s explore wellness, health tips, and the human body.
Wear the doctor’s smock and store some of the tools in the smock’s pockets and elastic straps, or carry the tools around in the doctor’s bag. You’ll need the stethoscope, the otoscope, the thermometer, the syringe, the pretend scissors, the mirror, the tweezers, the medicine cup, two spoons, a liquid medicine bottle, a pretend pager, and an ID card. And don’t forget the most important piece: the healthcare tablet.
Turn on the tablet to “start seeing some patients”. Press the check-up button to enter Check-Up Mode and touch a picture to answer the questions. (This is basically a quiz mode for kids.) Press the six symptoms buttons to learn about common illnesses. When kids press the Health Tips or ECG buttons, they’ll hear health tips, fun facts, and songs and sounds. Touch the six human body buttons to learn about parts of the body or the five medical tool buttons to learn about the instruments doctors use.
Two AA batteries are included, and there are two levels of volume.
