January is a great time to look at the year ahead, and get excited about the movies planned for release over the next 12 months.

2014 has the potential to be a great year at the box office with a ton of sequels and reboots coming our way. We can expect more than 20 sequels in 2014, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, X-Men Days of Future Past, Transformers 4: Age of Extinction, Night at the Museum 3 and How to Train Your Dragon 2, among others. Among the reboots, look for new versions of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Godzilla and Robocop. 2014 will also deliver a lot of original movies including The LEGO Movie, Mr Peabody & Sherman, Guardians of the Galaxy and Maleficent.
