What It Is
The Crib & Floor Mirror is a large mirror with soft frame that can be attached to a crib using the elastic straps or used on the floor with its fold-out, easel-style bottom. Attached to the 7.5-inch by 7.5-inch mirror is a ladybug and bee. The ladybug has crinkly pieces and a black-and-white spinning ball in the center, while the bee has crinkly wings and can be spun around on its base. The back of the package includes parent-child interaction ideas, such as hanging the mirror on a crib and pointing to baby's reflection, describing what baby is seeing.
Is It Fun?
The bright colors and patterns on the Crib & Floor Mirror provide visual stimulation for babies, while the different textures provide tactile play. Babies love to look at human faces, and the large mirror lets them focus on their own face as they play.
Who It’s For
The Crib & Floor Mirror is for ages birth and up. It's best suited for the youngest kids and children will grow out of it by 18 months-2 years.
What To Be Aware Of
The mirror can be used in the crib, but as baby gets more upper body strength, Sassy recommends using it on the floor for tummy time play to help encourage the gross motor skill of lifting the head and chest as well as the fine motor skills of reaching and grasping.
Do not place the mirror freestanding in a crib as it could help a child climb out of the crib.
Wipe the mirror clean with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water.
